These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with us via our website or arranged by third parties. Completion of a booking implies acceptance and understanding of the terms and conditions listed below.

We highly recommend that you have suitable travel insurance in place at the
time of booking.

General
All rates we quote are subject to availability and alteration. All special offers quoted are limited and subject to availability, and may be subject to a minimum stay.

While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, the Handel’s Hotel cannot accept liability for any errors or omissions and we reserve the right to change information and description of the hotel and products and to amend manifest error in the quoted or booked rates.

Check in
Check-in time is from 15:00
Check-out time is at 12:00

The minimum age for check-in is 18 years old.
A photographic ID is required upon check-in.

We wish to advise that a valid card will be required on check-in for all bookings, including prepaid bookings. A pre-authorization of €50.00 will be taken upon arrival for incidentals and will be released in full, subject to an inspection of the property.
The credit card must be in the guest’s name and a corresponding photo ID might be required. If the pre-authorization is unsuccessful the booking shall be rendered null & void.
Cash is not accepted on the property.

Pre-Authorizations:

For all non-pre-paid reservations, the pre-authorization equals the 1st-night accommodation will be taken in the morning on the day of arrival. Should the card decline, we reserve the right to advise of this accordingly, and should a valid card not be provided by 15:00 on the day of arrival, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

Cancellations & No Shows

Standard Purchase 2 – Our cancellation policy is 48 hours (14:59 hotel’s local time) before the date of arrival. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, your credit card will be charged a fee equal to the first night, to compensate the hotel for its loss of earnings.

You do not need to pay in advance. However, a credit card is required to make a booking. To check the validity of your card and to guarantee your booking, the property reserves the right to temporarily hold the amount due for the 1st-night stay before arrival. Should the card decline, they also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking within the cancellation policy.

Standard Purchase 7 – Our cancellation policy is 7 days (14:59 hotel’s local time) before the date of arrival. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, your credit card will be charged a fee equal to 50% of the total value of the reservation, to compensate the hotel for its loss of earnings.

You do not need to pay in advance. However, a credit card is required to make a booking. To check the validity of your card and to guarantee your booking, the property reserves the right to temporarily hold the amount due for the 1st-night stay before arrival.

Should the card decline, they also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking within the cancellation policy.

Advance Purchase – Your card will be charged in full at the time of booking. All payments taken are non-refundable & non-transferable. A no-show, cancellation, or change will result in a forfeit of the amount charged.
Should your payment not be processed at the time of booking, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time.

Children and Extra Beds:

All children under 6 years old stay free of charge when using existing beds.
There are no extra beds available at the property.

Cots are available on request but cannot be guaranteed.

Special Instruction
Any special instructions you have submitted with your booking should relate to your reservation and are likely to be addressed on the day of your arrival. If you have any more pressing requests, we would suggest you contact the hotel directly by email or phone.

Promotions and Offers
All promotional offers are subject to specific terms, conditions, and restrictions listed on the specific webpage. All promotional offers are subject to availability.

Group Bookings
When booking 3 rooms or more different payment and cancellation policies will apply. For more details contact the hotel directly.

Eligibility of Use
Use of www.handelshotel.ie is restricted to people over the age of 18 who can enter into binding contracts

Non-Smoking
Handel’s Hotel is a strictly non-smoking property. The hotel respectfully requests that guests do not smoke in the rooms and public areas and instead use the dedicated outdoor smoking area. Anyone found to be smoking or having smoked in a room will be subject to a deep-cleaning fee of €100. This penalty will be applied to the credit card provided at the time of check-in. Management reserves the right to charge the credit card without notification if guests are found to be in breach of this policy.

Misconduct and Damage of Property

In the event of the guest’s behavior being unacceptable to Handel’s Hotel, the Management reserves the right to insist on the offending individual(s) immediate departure.

The guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the room, is responsible for damage to property resulting from negligent or irresponsible behavior and any inconvenience caused to other guests. Handel’s Hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card without notification.

Pricing Errors

The company and Handel’s Hotel reserve the right to cancel contracts based upon incorrect information having been displayed in relation to price or service.

Site Use

Our brand website, www.handelshotel.ie is intended to assist in determining availability and booking your hotel reservation. Apart from printing information in connection with your travel, you are not allowed to reproduce, replicate, sell, resell or otherwise exploit these websites unless we provide you with prior written permission to do so.

There may be links to other sites that we believe may be of interest to you at www.handelshotel.ie but we are not endorsing or recommending these sites, or the services or material provided by them. We therefore accept no responsibility for the materials, services, or other situations at or related to, or from, any other website.

Non-Performance

If, for reasons beyond the hotel’s reasonable control, including, but not limited to, strikes, labor disputes, acts, regulations or orders of governmental authorities, civil disorder, disaster, acts of war, acts of God, fires, flood or other emergency conditions, or due to any delay in necessary and essential repairs of the hotel, the hotel is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement, the non-performance is excused and the hotel may terminate the original agreement without further liability or compensation of any nature. In no event shall the hotel be liable for consequential damages of any nature, for any reason whatsoever.

Jurisdiction
This contract is governed by the laws of Ireland. While every reasonable effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information, the content of www.handelshotel.ie may include technical, typographical, or content errors.
