Handel’s is a Dublin city centre hotel. Located on Fishamble Street, the fish market of the original medieval city. Thankfully the smell of fish is long gone but our hotel is still at the heart of Dublin city centre. The River Liffey is 100 metres away, 1000 year old Christchurch Cathedral is across the road, while the attractions and distractions of Dublin’s iconic Temple Bar are on our doorstep and, beyond it the modern city centre – An Lar as it is in Irish. Stay with us here at Handel’s Hotel and you’ll be close to the action of Dublin’s city centre – but far enough away from the noise to get some sleep!
The question is, how did a German composer with English citizenship come to perform his most lauded masterpiece in a former fishmarket in Dublin?

Excellent Location, clean rooms and wonderful staff. We spent two wonderful weeks at this hotel in Dublin. The location of this historic hotel is simply superb; it is located in a quiet area, yet a few minutes walk gets you to endless restaurants, cafes, shops, and churches whether in the famous action-packed and bustling Temple Bar area or the city center of Dublin. The entire staff (receptionist, housekeeping, and the owner/manager Christian) was superb, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and very clean. The receptions was available 24 hours and always met us with a welcoming smile. We enjoyed our stay at this affordable hotel which we highly recommend. We look forward to staying at Handel's Hotel again.
It was definitely top three best places I have ever been to in my long history of trips. Already before the stay we had lovely and really great support from the staff which continued when we arrived - they were always truly nice and helped in any question. Another great thing about this hotel is great location. It is less than 5 minutes to Temple Bar. It means - any time we had to put our stuff or just rest our feet, we were very soon in our cozy room. The room was really nice! It had all you need - even coffee machine. Nice and clean! So this is really place to choose! And next time being in Dublin we will certainly choose it again! This hotel is located in the city center and very close to the main attractions of Dublin; at the same time the area is very quiet, I have never slept so well in my life! The room was spacious and provided with all comforts (Nespresso coffee machine, bottles of water, hospitality chocolates, additional pillows and blankets, smart TV, soft towels, toilet paper, shower gel and shampoo, etc.). The bed was very comfortable, the sheets and pillows were clean and soft. The room was very clean: there was not any trace of dust or dirt neither on the carpet nor on the furnitures in the bedroom, while I smelled bleach in the bathroom (this aspect demonstrates the care for the guests' health in this pandemic period). The reception staff was very kind and helpful, and always ready to address our needs and requests (especially Jakub and Janine). This hotel is definitely the best place I have stayed in so far, thus I look forward to come back!
The location is simply phenomenal: most monuments, important buildings and pubs are within walking distance from the place. I found all the staff welcoming and precise. Highly recommended!
Location was perfect, at the end of Temple Bar, so not too loud in the night but close to all the good pubs - staff was very friendly and helpful - rooms seem to had a makeover, the beds were comfortable
